A little Taste of Disney...

If you are anything like me, Disney is always at the heart of everything! I had some blank space on my wall and needed something to put there, and what better a way than a little bit of Disney magic? I wanted to make something that wasn't tacky or out of place and I think I did just that!

I started with two blank canvases that I got in a pack from Hobby Lobby (my home away from home) and the leftover paint I had from painting my walls.

I started out with painting the canvases with the paint. After that dried I traced a lampshade (in pencil) for the faces and a lid for the ears and painted them with gold paint(for me it took three coats)! Then I had some navy ribbon laying around and used it to make a bow for minnie's ear and hot glued it on. Once I hung them on the wall I felt like they needed something more so I edged the side of the canvas with ribbon! 

Now I have a little piece of magic on my wall to make me smile! I hope you found something helpful here and thanks for reading!
